About Coach John

John Rozich brings an accomplished playing and coaching background to the West Chester Dragons. A four-year starting catcher at Kutztown University, Coach John earned multiple Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and All-Region honors, was named the conference’s 1999 Athlete of the Year and was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 18th round of the 1999 MLB Amateur Draft. He later built extensive head-coaching experience at the high school, American Legion and travel-baseball levels. Coach John joined the Dragons in 2018 and offers players the perspective of a former professional draft selection, collegiate standout and experienced team leader.
